Previously, Ron held leadership roles over career services and other areas at University of Arizona, Ashford University, California State University San Marcos, Maricopa County Community Colleges, and Azusa Pacific University. Beyond higher education, he worked in real estate, as well as for America West Airlines, Bank of America and Strata Information Group – an enterprise resource planning consulting firm for higher education. He has served on the boards for the Mountain Pacific Association of Colleges and Employers (2020 Conference Co-Chair), Escondido Education Compact, Disney Internship Programs and Consortium of Liberal Arts Schools and Colleges in California.
